Drač (alb. Durrës), drugi po veličini grad Albanije (161.800 stanovnika, procjena iz 2008.), najstariji je grad i jedan od ekonomski najvažnijih kao najveći lučki grad. Plaže u Durrësu lokalna su žarišta mnogih Albanaca i važan su dio turizma u Albaniji. Grad su kolonizirali kolonisti iz Korinta i Korkyre 627. godine prije Krista. Nazvan je Epidamnus, koji je kasnije postao Dyrrachium. Između 1. i 3. stoljeća Durres je bio važno lučko i trgovačko središte na trgovačkoj ruti Via Egnatia, između Rima i Bizanta (Istanbul). Nakon velikog broja potresa, veći dio drevnog Drača potonuo je u more ili se srušio i naknadno je izgrađen. Najvažniji objekt je amfiteatar s 15.000 sjedećih mjesta, koji datira iz 2. stoljeća poslije Krista. U srednjem vijeku Durres su priželjkivali mnogi različiti uljezi iz cijele Europe. Činjenica da je ovaj grad bio naseljen tijekom svoje povijesti, znači da je iskopano vrlo malo drevnog grada, jer postoji ispod novijih zgrada. Međutim, arheološki muzej je dobro opskrbljen i predstavljen. Poznati rimski govornik Ciceron nazvao je Durres gradom vrijednim divljenja, dok ga je pjesnik Catullus nazvao konobom Jadrana. Danas je grad poznat po odmaralištu Durres s pješčanim plažama i toplim morskim vodama. Duga je oko 10,5 km, a albanski i strani turisti posjećuju je od svibnja do listopada
